Extending the legs and pulling the rapid center column up, the tripod can reach a maximum height of 68.1". Collapsing the tripod down to a folded length of 26.6" for storage or transport. The legs have four variable leg angles of 20, 40, 60, and 80°, and with its independent leg spread, the legs can completely splay out to a minimum height of 19.5". The included Alta GH-100 Pistol Grip Head comes with the QS-60 V2 quick release plate. The head has a load capacity of 13.2 lb, and it has a built-in friction control if there is more weight added to the top of the head.
