Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Vanguard Alta Pro 2 264AO Aluminum Tripod with PH-31 Fluid Pan Head supports up to 11 lb, measures 27.7" when folded, and can rise to a maximum height of 63.8" with its rapid center column fully raised. Its 4-section legs each feature an independent 20°, 40°, 60°, or 80° spread as well as 35° twist locks for rapid adjustments. The leg spread allows for a minimum working height of 20.2" - ideal for macro work. Non-slip, all-weather TPU grips on two of the legs provide a secure, comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces. A hook under the center column allows you to hang a counterweight for further stability. The tripod spider (canopy) has a 3/8"-16 tap for attaching lights, articulating arms, and other accessories. The PH-31 2-Way Fluid Pan Head can be rotated 360° and tilted -60 to 90° forward. Each of these movements function independently of each other and can be locked into place. The head has an Arca-compatible quick release. Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the included QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate, which features a rubberized, non-slip platform. The plate can be attached or removed from the QR clamp located at the top of head by tightening or loosening its knurled, locking knob. The tripod comes with a case with shoulder strap for storage and transport. - Central Column and Lock Mechanism
