Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Vanguard VEO 235AP Aluminum Tripod with PH-25 2-Way Pan/Tilt Head extends to 56.7" high, weighs 3.3 lb, and can hold up to 7.7 lb. It features a unique rapid rotating center column that swings 180° around to place the center column and pan head between the tripod's legs. This contributes to the compact folded length of just 14.9".
The tripod's 5-section legs employ flip locks to individually lock the sections to your desired length. Each leg has a rubber foot that can be twisted to reveal a metal spike, enabling the tripod to sit stably on a variety of surfaces. Included with the tripod is a short center column, which when in place allows the tripod to reach a minimum height of 6.4" including the head.
The included PH-25 2-way pan/tilt head has separate locking knobs for the 360° panning motion and the front-to-back tilting. A pan bar helps to provide smooth pans for video shooting, and a quick release plate is included for easy attaching and detaching of a camera.
