Product description The Vantec SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter converts your internal 2.5", 3.5", or 5.25" drive as an external device that your system can access using a USB 2.0 interface. It is compatible with SATA- and IDE-based drives and comes with a power adapter for powering your drive. The USB 2.0 interface is backwards compatible with USB 1.1, providing compatibility with older computer systems. - Transfer rates up to 12 Mb/s with USB 1.1 and 480 Mb/s with USB 2.0
