Product description Protect your Atomos Shogun from the rigors of production with the Varavon Atomos Shogun / Assassin Cage. The CNC machined anodized aluminum cage provides a rigid frame that features accessory mounting points, rubber shock dampeners, cable locks, and an SSD latch that provides additional security to your SSD. The cage is designed to protect your Shogun without impeding any of the functionality.
Your Shogun mounts into the cage from the back, securing it with the top and bottom 1/4"-20 mounting screws. Rubber dampers in each corner help hold your Shogun secure, while helping to minimize shock. The cage features a removable Audio clamp, which isn't really a clamp, although it does protect the audio and external power connectors from accidental impact. Incorporating 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes that allow you to mount optional accessories without stressing your Shogun's chassis. The built-in cable locking thumbscrews help secure your HDMI cables, and a sliding SSD latch secures your SSD helping to prevent it from being removed accidentally. - Access and Functionality
- The cage protects your Shogun monitor / recorder while allowing full functionality and access without having to remove your Shogun from the cage.
- The cage is machined to provide access to the features of your Shogun.
- The audio clamp is a removable U-shaped metal bar, which features holes that you thread your audio and power cables through, while the bar itself protects your cables and Shogun from accidental impact and damage.
- Captive thumbscrews allow you to secure HDMI cables to your Shogun.
- Mounting
- Your Shogun slides into the rear of the cage, resting against the four rubber dampeners while top and bottom 1/4"-20 mounting screws secure it into the cage. The frame of the cage is approximately 4 mm wider than your Shogun, preventing contact damage.
- Accessory Mounting
- Fifteen 1/4"-20 and four 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes in the top of the cage, with more holes on the bottom, allow you to mount a wide variety of accessories to the cage without stressing the body of your Shogun.
