Product description The Compact Zoom, Focus, & Iris Control with 7" Monitor Kit for Panasonic is a bundle from VariZoom that features the VZM7K 7" on-camera field monitor with HDMI in and out, the VZROCKDVX zoom rocker, and the VZPFI focus and iris lens control. The zoom control is compatible with Panasonic camcorders that have a 2.5mm sub-mini remote port, while the lens controller requires a separate 3.5mm mini jack remote port in addition (some Panasonic models only feature the 2.5mm zoom port). Meanwhile, the VZM7K monitor can be used with any camera that has an HDMI output, and also supports HDCP for use with copy-protected sources. The kit can be deployed as a system or the parts used individually, adapting to your needs on any given day. As a whole it is ideal for jib or crane setups, proving remote camera operation as well as monitoring. The included 2.5mm and 3.5mm control cables are 40" in length, and there are extensions available separately for the scenarios where a longer reach is called for. VZM7 7" Field Monitor Kit - The VZM7 features a 7" diagonal, LED backlit screen with a native resolution of 1024 x 600 and a brightness of 250 nits. The monitor can power from a 6.5 to 36V DC external power source using a 4-pin XLR connector or a Sony L-series type battery. It features an HDMI input with loop-out so the signal can be passed along to a downstream device, and accepts resolutions up to 1080p.
