Product description The Varizoom VZ-CTD Heavy-Duty Dolly & VZ-TCR100 Crane Tripod Bundle was created by Varizoom specifically to create a sturdy movable base for use with most jibs and supports up to one hundred and forty pounds of tripod, crane, and camera. It consists of a modified Varizoom VZ-D100 dolly, purpose-built set for tripod legs. This bundle provides a sturdy single section tripod that securely fits into a sturdy tripod dolly, allowing you to safely roll an available crane from one camera position to another. To this end, Varizoom machines the tripod legs, incorporating screw threaded stainless steel feet with ball ends, designed to be used specifically with the modified VZ-D100 dolly. The Dolly features individually-locking wheels and is modified to accept the tripod's extended feet. The parts are machined from 6061 aircraft aluminum, to be lightweight, durable and malleable, which makes the rolling base resistant to shattering, increasing safety when properly operated. - The dolly is modified with machined aluminum blocks that capture the extended ball feet of the tripod legs. The weight of an available crane on the legs forces the feet deep into the aluminum blocks, making it virtually impossible to have a foot kick out from the block.
- The tripod legs are a single section, and not telescoping, made from heavy gauge tubing and a machined mounting fitting.
- Locking rubber wheels allow for a secure smooth dolly.
- Varizoom recommends using this bundle when working all their available cranes, as well as available cranes from other manufacturers as long as the weight of the crane system does not exceed 140 pounds.
