Product description Varizoom's VZM5 5" LCD On-Camera HDMI Loop-Through Monitor is an easy-to-use monitor with front-panel buttons. The 5" monitor sports a native resolution of 800 x 480 but will support and display signals with resolution up to 1920 x 1080. It features an 800:1 contrast ratio and 500 cd/m2 brightness, making it suitable for use in exteriors and interiors, but you may wish to consider an optional sunhood for exterior use.
The monitor incorporates a built-in 1/4"-20 threaded hole on both the top and bottom, which provides you with flexibility in mounting. The vertical image flip feature is useful for those occasions when you have to flip the camera or the monitor, and the monochrome mode provides you with a rough idea of how your image will look in black and white. The monitor allows you to select and display safety area and center marker guides, and there is even a 4:3 frame guide. Auto aspect ratio detection enables the monitor to automatically display your footage in the correct aspect ratio, and the front-panel aspect ratio button will allow you to manually select the aspect ratio. DSLR scaling will adjust your picture size to best fit your monitor's display. An optional remote accessory allows you to enable focus peaking, and also to zoom in on the center of your image. - Accepts all HD signals up to 1080p
