Product description The Veho Discovery DX-1 2MP Digital USB Microscope is designed to assist you in your scientific studies and observations. For convenience you can choose to use it handheld, or to free your hands place it on the included stand outfitted with an articulating arm that can be arranged to point it precisely where you need it to view your specimen or sample.Using the USB 2.0 cable between the microscope and your PC, you, your kids, or your students can use this handy microscope for a wide variety of home, school, or field observations, including capturing data from biological specimens, electronic devices, and precious materials and stones. The optical system features a 2MP CMOS imaging sensor that allows you to capture still images and video at up to 1920x1080 HD resolutions. The body is compact, lightweight, and ergonomic, with a transparent bezel to protect the lens and the eight LEDs from dust and damage. -
- Use handheld or hands-free with included adjustable multi-position stand and base
- 2MP CMOS sensor produces still (JPEG) and video (AVI) resolutions of up to 1920x1080
- Digital magnification ranged from a low of 10x to a high of 200x
- Large manual focusing knob with a focus range of 0.4-5.9" (1-15.0 cm)
- Eight white LEDs provide specimen illumination from the top, with a rheostat to adjust the brightness
- Software interface on computer controls the microscope, including resolution, date and time, language, full-screen mode, and timer for photo/video capture
- Calibration tool included to achieve accurate specimen measurements, including angle, continuous line, and radius/circumference/area of a circle
- Powered by computer USB port
