Also, the legs splay out to give the tripod a minimum height of 11.1", and the rapid center column splits into a shorter column so you keep the low angle aspect of the tripod. The featured PH157QK three-way pan-and-tilt head supports mirrorless, DSLR, and video cameras that weigh up to 8.8 lb. Turning the pan handle slightly unlocks it, which enables you to pan 360° and tilt back-and-forth. At the top of the head, the quick release system includes the QB-157 plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting thread. The support folds down to a length of 24.8", which it can practically be taken anywhere to support your equipment on your travels.
