Product description Reach your camera's full potential with the Vello Accessory Kit for Sony a6500 from B&H that includes the BG-S5 Battery Grip and a Watson NP-FW50 battery, which doubles the camera's battery life. At the same time, the grip offers a vertical shutter button, and to fire your camera wirelessly, the remote offers 16 million possible channels to choose from, a wireless range of 320', and a remote shutter release cable, which connects the remote to the camera. Additionally, the Film Screen Protector defends against damage, and the Cap Keeper ensures your lens cap does not get lost. - Vello BG-S5 Battery Grip for Sony Alpha a6500 The Vello BG-S5 Battery Grip is designed specifically for the Sony Alpha a6500 camera. The grip holds one or two NP-FW50 batteries which effectively doubles your shooting time when both batteries are installed. It works through the use of a dedicated battery adapter and the design of the grip provides a comfortable way to hold and shoot your camera in the vertical position. The BG-S5 also has a vertical-position shutter-release button for portrait orientation shooting which works through the use of an included Multi-Terminal cable. It even has an on/off switch that can turn off both the grip and camera for simplified operation.
The BG-S5 is designed with an anti-slip rubber grip to further improve handling. The battery grip screws into the camera's tripod mount, and it has another tripod mount on its bottom for attaching to a camera support. A metal mount allows you to attach a camera strap to the BG-S5 for convenient carrying. - Designed to match the body design of the a6500 for improved ergonomics and control.

- The FreeWave's Smart Code feature allows you to operate on 16,000,000 possible radio channels. No DIP switches need to be set, and one transmitter can trigger multiple receivers. The units have been synchronized at the factory, so your system can work right out of the box. However, to maximize signal quality and range, it is best to use the Smart Code technology to sense the "quiet" frequencies in your environment and re-synchronize on that channel.
