Product description The Vello BG-S5 Battery Grip is designed specifically for the Sony Alpha a6500 camera. The grip holds one or two NP-FW50 batteries which effectively doubles your shooting time when both batteries are installed. It works through the use of a dedicated battery adapter and the design of the grip provides a comfortable way to hold and shoot your camera in the vertical position. The BG-S5 also has a vertical-position shutter-release button for portrait orientation shooting which works through the use of an included Multi-Terminal cable. It even has an on/off switch that can turn off both the grip and camera for simplified operation.
The BG-S5 is designed with an anti-slip rubber grip to further improve handling. The battery grip screws into the camera's tripod mount, and it has another tripod mount on its bottom for attaching to a camera support. A metal mount allows you to attach a camera strap to the BG-S5 for convenient carrying. - Designed to match the body design of the a6500 for improved ergonomics and control.
