Product description Create gorgeous lighting setups with the Nikon i-TTL-compatible FlashBoss TTL Transceiver from Vello. This TTL transceiver functions as both a transmitter and receiver, and works in tandem with other FlashBoss transceivers. It can be configured to transmit full TTL information from the camera to other FlashBoss Transceivers within the unit's impressive 328' range. Also, the hot shoe located on the top of the transceiver offers pass-through capability for using a flash on camera as well. Configured with a 2.4 GHz frequency, 30 channels, and three groups, the FlashBoss will provide remote control over numerous flashes with minimal interference from other nearby systems. Additionally, users have access to TTL, manual, and delayed time modes to configure each set of lights to work well with one another.
When using TTL, users have access to multiple sync settings, including first-curtain and high-speed sync at up to 1/8000 second. There is also a threaded PC sync port that provides support for studio strobes and can be used in combination with the delayed time setting to ensure they sync with your other flashes and camera. A USB terminal is available as well and can be used for firmware updates or with an optional shutter release cable for remote triggering of cameras. Additionally, it runs on two AA batteries and comes with a mini stand with 1/4"-20 thread for mounting on a stand or placing on a table. Note: This is one unit only. A minimum of two units are required. The SB-800 is not compatible with this system since it uses older TTL protocols. - Camera Compatibility
