Product description Used with the separately purchased Mini-Stand transmitter, the FreeWave Mini-Stand Receiver from Vello combines a hot shoe stand with a built-in 2.4 GHz radio receiver. This high 2.4GHz frequency easily passes through objects giving you the ability to place lights behind them and around corners.The receiver-stand allows the flash to be positioned quickly on any flat surface. You can also use the 1/4"- 20 female thread to mount it on a tripod, light stand, or boom arm for maximum flexibility. For studio situations, the included 3.5 mm sync cord and 1/4" phono adapter further expand the Mini-Stand's compatibility to include most studio monolights and power packs. Just add a Mini-Stand for each flash unit. With multiple lights, you can do it all from create memorable portraits, persuasive products, or just bring life to an otherwise dull room. Your creative possibilities are endless with the FreeWave Mini-Stands.The FreeWave Mini-Stand Receiver is compatible with most major manufacturers shoe mount flash with manual power control. Pentax, Sony/Minolta, and Sony Multi-Interface Shoe are not compatible. - Stand and Receiver as One
