Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Vello FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release Kit for Select Sony Cameras from B&H combines the versatile FreeWave Wireless Remote Shutter Release with the release cables that enable the remote to work with most Sony cameras that will accept a remote shutter release. The Freewave Wireless Remote allows you to shoot your camera from a distance of up to 320' and because it uses radio frequency technology a direct line of sight is not necessary. Shooting with a remote is beneficial for numerous photographic applications from shooting wildlife, where getting too close is a problem, to macro shooting, when even touching the camera poses difficulties, to working with a model where constant eye contact is important. This remote model includes the release cables needed for most Canon cameras and provides compatibility as such. - The FreeWave's Smart Code feature allows you to operate on 16,000,000 possible radio channels. No DIP switches need to be set, and one transmitter can trigger multiple receivers. The units have been synchronized at the factory, so your system can work right out of the box. However, to maximize signal quality and range, it is best to use the Smart Code technology to sense the "quiet" frequencies in your environment and re-synchronize on that channel.
