Product description Convert your shoe-mounted flash into a diffuse ring light with the Ringbox from Vello. The portable, collapsible softbox produces an even, soft light that encircles the lens well-suited to close-up fashion, macro, and medical photography. It is compatible with most DSLR and flashes since it attaches to lenses up to 3.9" in diameter with adjustable elastic cords in center opening and secures to the flash head via a strap with hook-and-loop fasteners.
For maximum portability the Ringbox collapses down to an 8" disc and slides into an included zippered carrying bag. Magnetic rods positioned around the ring allow for quickly collapsing or opening the softbox. Additionally, it weighs 1 lb. - Securely attaches to lenses measuring up to 3.9" in diameter and can work with select wide-angle lenses, though vignetting is possible. Also, smaller lenses can benefit from the use of a lens hood or step up ring in order to keep the Ringbox secure.
