Product description New Vello Nikon F to Sony E Auto Lens Adapter, Version 4 Read More - Use Nikon Lenses on Sony Mirrorless Cameras with Vello Auto Lens Adapter
Breathe new life into your Nikon F-mount lenses with version 4 of this Vello Auto Lens Adapter that enables you to mount Nikon glass to a full-frame or APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless camera body and retain full automatic functionality (depending on lens/camera combination). When using supported G-type and E-type lenses from Nikon, users will have auto exposure as well as the ability to control the aperture from the camera body. Autofocus can be utilized as well (only for photography, not video) and is fastest and most accurate when used with Sony cameras that use focal-plane phase-detect AF systems. Version 4 brings with it optimized autofocus and auto exposure performance among a larger range of lenses. Image stabilization is also supported and will work in tandem with compatible in-body stabilization systems. Users of compatible D-type lenses will have access to auto exposure capabilities and all Nikon lenses will be able to communicate Exif data through the adapter to the camera.
The mount is designed for long-term use with a durable metal construction and it has a matte black interior that will help reduce reflections for optimal image quality. Additionally, it has an integrated tripod foot with a 1/4"-20 socket that can be used to reduce stress on the camera's lens mount when using larger lenses. Vello LAE-SE-NFV4 Auto Lens Adapter Lens Compatibility Information (Firmware Ver. 4) The following Nikon lenses and Sony cameras have been tested with the Vello LAE-SE-NF lens adapter for photo compatibility, some with operational limitations. Note: All lenses were tested in AF-S setting with center point focusing. Note: AF function was tested for photo, video will not work properly LENS | CAMERA | BRAND | LENS MODEL | A7 II (Camera Ver. 3.10) | A7R II (Camera Ver. 3.20) | A6300 & A6500 (Camera Ver. 1.00) | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | Nikon | AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX Zoom 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 16-35mm f/4G ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 24-120mm f/4G ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 70-200mm f/4G ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 20mm f/1.8G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 35mm f/1.8G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 58mm f/1.4G | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 85mm f/1.4G | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX Zoom 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX Zoom 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX Zoom 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX VR Zoom 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX VR Zoom 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED II | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S VR Zoom 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX Zoom 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S 300mm f/4E PF ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR | | ✓ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.8G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Nikon | AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Sigma | 35mm F1.4DG HSM/Art | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | Sigma | 50mm F1.4 DG HSM/Art | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | LENS MODEL | CAMERA MODEL | Notes | LENS BRAND | LENS MODEL | A7 II (Camera Ver. 3.10) | A7R II (Camera Ver. 3.20) | A6300 & A6500 (Camera Ver. 1.00) | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | PHASE FOCUS | Aperture Control | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | AF SPEED (Fast) | AF SPEED (Slow) | Nikon | AF-S 24mm f/1.4G ED | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | When the lens changes between focus extremes, focusing is inconsistent. | Nikon | AF-S 35mm f/1.4G | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | When the lens changes between focus extremes, focusing is inconsistent. | Nikon | AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | When the lens changes between focus extremes, focusing is inconsistent. | Nikon | AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | | ✓ | ✓ | Zooming to longer focal lengths creates slower focusing times.
