- Mastering the Intervalometer: Time-lapse & Long Exposure Photography with Vello Shutterboss
Control multiple cameras remotely and set up elaborate long exposures or time-lapses with this Wireless ShutterBoss II Receiver from Vello. This additional receiver is compatible with ShutterBoss versions I and II and features the same 2.4 GHz frequency with a 250' range for reliable wireless functionality. The unit also has access to 99 channels and is compatible with the variety of functions built into the system, such as continuous shooting, self-timer, long time exposures, and interval shooting.
The ShutterBoss II system does work as a dual-function release, allowing users to press halfway to focus or press full to trigger the shutter. It can also be set to take multiple photos with a single press of the shutter and has LED indicators to confirm pre-focus and exposure. The ShutterBoss II can also function both wired or wirelessly to better fit your particular setup. Additionally, the receiver runs on one 3V CR2 battery and easily mounts to the camera via a locking shoe or a 1/4"-20 thread.
