Product description When you need a wide light source with impressive, versatile performance features, the Velvet Light 4 Bi-Color LED Panel without yoke from VELVETlight is a smart choice. The 49 x 12 x 2.7" panel is slim enough to squeeze into tight spaces or be positioned close to the talent without causing discomfort, thanks to its cool-running LEDs. Color is variable from 2700 to 6500K to match other fixtures or meet any ambient light challenge, while maintaining a high CRI/TLCI rating of 95, an indicator of accurate rendering of color. Flicker-free dimming from 0 to 100% is possible and while you can make color and light intensity adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also do it remotely via onboard DMX. Additionally, you control several linked lights in a master/slave setup whereby the first light in the chain commands the rest to match its settings. And the fixture is seen but not heard; the Velvet Light 4's silent fan-free cooling is a valuable asset in sound sensitive environments. This listing is for the Velvet Light 4 panel only. The separate purchase of an AC power supply is required for use. - Variable Color Temperature, Slim Design and DMX Control
- The Velvet Light 4 has color temperature that's variable from 2700 to 6500K in precise 100K steps. Easy to squeeze into tight spaces, the 2.7" thick fixture can be controlled remotely via onboard DMX.
- Advanced DMX-RDM
- Master-Slave function: starting with one fixture, you can link several fixtures through DMX and operate them all in unison without a console. With bidirectional DMX RDM all VELVET fixtures are RDM enabled for a fast channel addressing and channel assignment workflow.
- Made to Last
- With its 100% aluminum body and dustproof IP51 rating, the Velvet Light 4 was made to endure the toughest shooting conditions on any location or in any studio. VELVET electronics and the one-piece aluminum heatsink keep the LEDs at the optimum temperature to last beyond 50,000 hours.
- Powerful Soft Light
- The soft, wraparound quality light is ideal for beauty shots and natural portraits. The efficient Velvet Light 4 delivers 1070 lux (100 fc) of soft light at 9.8' with a power draw of just 290W.
- Silent, Maintenance Free
- The impressive efficiency of 105 lumens per watt dramatically reduces the electric consumption and cabling installation while the 100% silent fan-free operation eliminates the need of maintenance or ventilator failure.
- Quick Setup
- The Velvet Light 4 has a dedicated 3200K/5600K quick-shift button, as well as a high-visibility digital display and shock-resistant buttons. An ergonomic yoke with one-hand locking tilt lever is available as an option.
- Quality White Light
- Proprietary VELVET technology provides a CRI 95 rating with no green deviation for flattering skin tones and accurate color that's consistent from fixture to fixture. Mix as many units as you wish with exactly the same light quality and color reproduction.
- Ready to Rig
- The slender and solid design with its modular system allows a wide range of quick rigging options. You can choose the optional ergonomic yoke with one-hand locking tilt lever or a versatile ball head mount. Multiple sliding 1/4"-20 rigging points are located on the top and bottom of every VELVET panel.
