Product description Bundling a Canon EF-mount lens with a dedicated lens adapter to Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, this Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D Lens and Magic Shift Converter MSC Kit from allows you to mount the ultra-wide prime to your camera body and achieve an effective 17mm f/4 result with added +/-10mm of shift to suit architectural and interior photography applications. - Venus Optics Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D Lens for Canon EF (Black) A truly wide-angle prime featuring a rectilinear optical design, the black Canon EF-mount Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D from Venus Optics is specifically meant to limit distortion for clear and accurate portrayals of landscapes and architectural subjects. The optical construction also incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and reduced color fringing. A Frog Eye Coating has been applied, too, to repel dust and moisture from the front element of the lens to benefit working in trying environmental conditions. Benefitting the optical attributes, this lens also features a precise manual focus design along with a floating optical system to maintain accurate rendering throughout the focus range, from 7.09" to infinity. Additionally, a petal-shaped lens hood is also incorporated into the lens' design to reduce flare and ghosting when working in strong lighting conditions.

This converter works by using optics, including two Extra Refractive elements, to magnify the image circle to 60mm, providing space to make adjustments while remaining free of any vignetting. It can also rotate 360°, making it easy to switch from portrait to landscape orientation when required. When used, this setup will help users create images with straight vertical lines, which is especially useful for architectural and interior photography. Additionally it has a metal construction for durability.
