Product description The CamSwitch 8 Plus from Veracity allows you to meet the power requirements of up to 8 Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) network cameras, or increase the installation distance for large-area surveillance systems. This device can be powered by PoE or with a variety of independent power sources. When using external power supplies, it can boost the effective range beyond the normal for PoE systems. It features two additional network ports for expanding or integrating with existing systems, and installing more networked devices and peripherals. The CamSwitch can be used as a stand-alone unit, or integrated into a rack-mounted system.
