Product description The HIGHWIRE Powerstar Base-8 IP & PoE Over Coax Base Unit from Veracity works with the HIGHWIRE Powerstar camera side (available separately) to connect up to eight IP cameras via BNC connectors to deliver power and video to up to eight network cameras over coaxial cable. Up to 25W of power per port is delivered from the base unit to connected cameras. No external power cabling is required, and all configuration and setup occurs automatically. If PoE is unavailable, or for an extra power boost at either end of the cable, simply connect the supplied 57 VDC power supply.
This device delivers a full 200 Mb/s of bandwidth at a range up to 1000' on RG59, and 1640' on RG11 cables. This base unit is rack-mountable with mounting accessories available for purchase separately. - Works with the HIGHWIRE Powerstar camera side, which is available separately
