Product description The camera side LONGSPAN Ethernet Range Extender with PoE from Veracity provides high bandwidth over extended ranges up to 3500', enabling a connection to IP cameras and other remote network devices. This smart, point-to-point solution requires no mid-cable equipment and features automatic self-configuration. The LONGSPAN Converter also supports single-pair UTP cables, providing a fast upgrade solution for legacy analog systems. LONGSPAN is designed to allow you to run IP cameras up to 2700' using 100Base-T speeds and up to 3500' using 10Base-T speeds. This converter supports 1- and 2-pair cables with extended range, allowing analog cameras in UTP installations to connect via IP with no need to replace cabling. LONGSPAN automatically adapts to the number of pairs available and delivers the same unrestricted 10 or 100 Mbps full-duplex network connection. It self-configures for optimum performance every time it is connected and eliminates the need for user setup, DIP switch settings, and system pairings. This PoE-equipped extender allows all of the power for the link to be sourced from a single PoE switch or power supply for simple installation and reliable UPS-backed power delivery. LONGSPAN's power transmission technologycan deliver the full 25.5W required for PoE Plus equipment at up to 2000', or standard 15W PoE up to 2600'. A smart LED display utilizing Veracity's SafeView technology provides confirmation of link status, power availability, and diagnostic information, from either end of the cable. - Extends Ethernet up to 3500' with PoE
