Product description The Vidpro CX-400 Travel Jib with Locking Pan Module & Tripod Legs is a small jib arm well suited for bringing dynamic jib shots to your videos when using DSLR and small video cameras that weigh 8 pounds or less. It includes an aluminum jib arm with a 4 foot reach beyond the fulcrum, a set of aluminum tripod legs, and a locking pan module with integrated bubble level. The three included counterweights help balance your camera on the jib, and an empty sandbag that you can fill on location so you don't have to transport additional weight. You can mount a camera directly to the jib arm's mounting base or mount a flat base video head as well. If you wish to mount a video head with a leveling ball, the Travel Jib includes a removable combination 75/100mm bowl that can accommodate most available ball leveling video heads, not included. The Travel Jib packs away into two carry bags that you can connect together using the attached heavy-duty buckles. - The jib arm is made with two aluminum arms that use collar locks that allow you to extend or retract the arms. A third aluminum arm extends backwards, and you adjust the length of the third arm and the amount of counter weight to balance the jib.
- The Jib head incorporates two spirit levels allowing you to check the level of your camera at the jib head. The camera platfom features approximately 1" of sliding adjustment and accepts the removable bowl adapter.
- The pan module features index lines at 5° increments and a witness arrow, allowing you to repeat moves. Although you can mount the jib directly to the included tripod legs, that configuration will not allow you to pan or adjust the position of the jib arm. However mounting the pan module to the tripod legs, and then mounting the jib arm on the pan module provides 360° of pan rotation. The pan module incorporates a bubble level, rubber mounting ring, and a locking lever to lock the pan position.
- The tripod legs feature independent leg angle and a spreader-less design, and it incorporates a center column with a 10" height adjustment range.
- Featuring a flat camera platform/mounting surface for an available camera or flat base video head that provides additional pan and tilt control. The included 75/100mm bowl adapter mounts to the camera platform by two screws and allows you to use an available video head that features a 75 or 100 mm ball for quick leveling. The design of the bowl adapter extends the reach of the jib without significantly increasing its height.
