Product description The Appassionata Strings I Full Collection from Vienna Symphonic is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring lush, broad and emotive cinematic strings using over 25,500 samples. The strings integrate perfectly into a variety of musical styles, from pop and rock to symphonic arrangements, from emotional ballads to films, and from string beds to complete orchestral scores.
Appassionata Strings I functions as an Audio Units, AAX Native, RTAS, or VST plug-in for Mac OS X and AAX Native, RTAS, and VST plug-in for Windows 7, or as a standalone virtual instrument. Note: Software requires a ViennaKey USB protection device or similar, if one is not already on the system. - Appassionata Strings I - Vienna Instruments Vienna Instruments - Appassionata Strings I from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument, that provides "passionate" string ensembles. The sounds are lush and cinematic in scope and perfectly integrate into a wide variety of musical styles. From pop and rock to symphonic arrangements, emotional ballads to films, the four string sections offer various sustains and legato performances, with different intensities of vibrato. The virtual instrument also includes articulations such as sul-G-performances, accented interval notes, spiccatos, staccatos, various repetition performances, trills, runs and more. The Vienna Instruments user interface is clearly arranged and includes pre-configured patches for immediate playability with no learning curve. The interface uses a powerful proprietary streaming audio engine that can load up to 3,456 articulations (patches) on one MIDI channel. Load times are extremely low and sixty-four stereo voices per instance can stream from the hard disc. A RAM optimizing utility clears unused samples out of RAM. Users can easily create their own instruments, using "drag and drop" functionality, and the instrument provides the ability for velocity crossfades and release control to be switched on or off in real time. Note: Software requires a ViennaKey USB protection device if one is not already on the system.

The instrumentation features a Violin ensemble (20 musicians), Viola ensemble (14 musicians) and a Cello ensemble (12 musicians). The Appassionata Strings I bass section of 10 musicians include 6 five-string and 4 four-string basses, giving the low end a deep and rich flavor.From pop and rock to symphonic arrangements, emotional ballads to films, the four string sections offer various sustains and legato performances, with different intensities of vibrato.
