Product description Bells from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring various types of bell and bell substitutes that are used in the orchestra. These include tubular bells, plate bells, church bells, hand bells, cowbells (cencerros), Burma Bells, sleigh bells, altar-boy bells and more.
Tubular bells were originally developed to sound like and be a portable substitute for church bells in the orchestra, something that was never achieved. However, today the timbre is valued in its own right and particularly useful in the higher register, whereas the lower register is usually covered by the plate bells. They are arranged chromatically and cover a range of approximately two octaves. Note: The software requires a ViennaKey USB or similar protection device if one is not already on the system. - Bells - Vienna Instruments (Standard Library, Download) Bells from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring various types of bell and bell substitutes that are used in the orchestra.
