Product description This electronic download of the Contrabass Clarinet from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument of the powerful and sonorous sounding contrabass clarinet. Almost twice as long as the bass clarinet, the instrument is the deepest and largest in the clarinet family. It is a transposing instrument and notated in treble key, but sounding a major ninth lower. The contrabass clarinet is found more often in brass and military music than in the orchestra.
