Product description MIRx The Sage Gateshead from Vienna Symphonic Library is a reverb extension for use with Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments PRO, and is based on the company's MIR (Multi Impulse Response) technology. It is a convenient and affordable way to integrate the acoustics of The Sage Gateshead directly into Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments PRO.
The Sage Gateshead is a landmark building in the northeast of England that boasts outstanding acoustics due to its curved glass construction and a shell-like stainless steel roof. The large auditorium is equipped with ceiling panels that can be raised and lowered, changing the sound profile of the room. A special "spongy" concrete mix was used in the construction, with a higher-than-usual air capacity to improve the acoustics.
Using pre-configured Multi Impulse Responses from Vienna MIR PRO, each instrument or ensemble in a Vienna Instruments arsenal will find its perfect position on stage at the touch of a button. Simply turning on the MIRx option in the player's reverb window and selecting one of the presets for the loaded instrument will place and align it at the appropriate spot on the stage.
