Product description Synchron Timpani I Full Library Upgrade from Vienna Symphonic Library is a virtual instrument with a library that captures the sound and character of five, different-sized Adams Artist Alpha timpani, masterfully played in Synchron Stage Vienna. The instruments were recorded with every nuanced detail using seven, phase-controlled multi-microphone setups which can be mixed to create stereo, 5.1 surround or Auro 3D mixes, each with different levels of ambience and stereo panorama.Synchron Timpani I is powered by the included Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments Pro players, or using the company's mixing hosts Vienna Ensemble and Vienna Ensemble Pro (available separately). This 79.9GB library comprises more than 80,800 samples with a wide variety of timbres and articulations, including rolls, glissandos, legato, and more. Sixteen velocity levels were captured in four "open" variants, with additional "secco" (stopped release of a hit) and "coperto" (damped membrane) articulations, adding up to 128 different single hits per pitch and per timpani. Note: This is an upgrade available to owners of Synchron Timpani I Standard Library. Software requires a ViennaKey USB protection device or other USB eLicenser, if one is not already on the system (available separately). Key Features -

- Choose from up to three different timpani to achieve any given pitch

Rolls- Captured in 16 velocities as well as various dynamics, such as crescendos and diminuendos, in four different lengths (light dynamics 1/2/4/6 second, strong dynamics 2/4/6/8 second)
- Normal, straight, and with velocity crossfade
- Crescendo and diminuendo rolls may be stopped at any time, with the perfectly matching release sample being triggered
Glissandos- Single-stroke glissandos were recorded up to a major sixth interval, at three different speeds (1/2/4 second)
Glissando Rolls- Single-stroke glissandos are topped by Performance Interval Rolls that enable true legato playing up to a fifth, over the complete range of each timpani – play them for any length of time

- Lush and warm sound with perfect localization of the instruments
- Reverb time of 1.6 to 1.8 seconds, with no masking effect in the low frequencies
- Room-in-room construction, built upon a massive concrete foundation, combined with sound insulation and a specially designed air conditioning system – provides low noise-floor of 16 dBA, even with air conditioner running
