Product description The Vienna Whistler from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring the whistling prowess of Marcus Schmidinger, who incidentally has performed on all of the horn instruments included in the Brass I and Brass II Collections, both as a soloist as well as a member of the horn ensemble on the Epic Horns. As a whistler, Schmidinger possesses a very homogeneous timbre over a wide key range of approximately two octaves. A comprehensive range of articulations include single notes in various lengths (staccato, portato, looped sustains), with and without vibrato, legato performances, portamentos, repetitions and trills and even bends and falls.
