Product description 10 Factors to Consider When Selecting A Monitor for Video Editing Read More ViewSonic's 22" Widescreen Multi-Touch Full HD 1080p LED Monitor is a touch-screen LED-backlit display with 1920 x 1080 progressive HD resolution, progressive being the better of the two HD types. The monitor's multi-touch functionality means that two or more on-screen buttons can be pressed at the same time, for interactive actions like rotations and two-finger taps. An 8H scratch-resistant coating ensures a consistent high quality touch experience.
Two built-in speakers, by way of SRS Premium Sound, deliver as much a surround sound experience as two speakers can. The monitor is equipped with VGA, DVI and USB connections and comes to you with VGA, DVI and audio cables included. What is Multi-Touch?
Multi-touch means two or more on-screen buttons can be pressed at the same time. Multi-touch allows actions like zoom in/out, rotation, and two-finger taps.
Full HD 1080p Resolution
The monitor's 1920 x 1080 resolution is capable of displaying a native full HD 1080p image, with "p" standing for "progressive," which is the better of the two HD types. Support for 1080p means that you can experience the picture clarity and details of 1080p content you may view, like 1080p movies and videos, which most are.
What is LED?
An "LED monitor" refers to a monitor with an LCD panel and an LED backlight. A typical LCD monitor uses CCFL lamps to illuminate the panel. In an LED backlit LCD monitor, white LED lamps are used for light instead. LED lamps are environmentally friendly, consuming about 40% less power than traditional CCFL lamps.
sRGB Color Correction
This monitor features embedded sRGB color correction technology, which reproduces color-for-color matches to original input sources. sRGB ensures all displayed images/videos are as natural as the original sources.
SRS Premium Sound
Designed by SRS Labs, SRS Sound aims at delivering as much a surround sound experience as possible with the monitor's two built-in speakers.
Eco Mode
ViewSonic's proprietary Eco-mode function lets you select between Standard, Optimize and Conserve modes. Standard mode will display images at the monitor's full brightness capacity. Optimize mode dims the brightness some, and Conserve mode dims a bit more to save 30-40% on energy costs.
