Product description The 8GB NMP580-w HD Wireless Network Media Player from ViewSonic is equipped with built-in wireless and RJ45 Ethernet connectivity, as well as integrated 8GB on-board memory, USB and microSD card slots. In addition to integrated HDMI input to receive a video content source, the NMP580-w provides flexible 1080p multimedia playback on its large format display via HDMI and supports HTML5 and SMIL standards to deliver dynamic and informative messaging. - Integrated with HDMI input, the media player is able to receive Full HD video content from sources such as set-top boxes and DVD players. TV programs or movies can be spliced in with store promotional content, creating dynamic advertisements and giving users the ability to personalize and customize their message to the consumer.
- Media player supports HTML5, W3C, and SMIL content retrieved from the Internet. This gives users the opportunity to display fresh and interesting content such as news, weather information, stock market trends, sports scores, social networking, or RSS feeds on multiple screens.
- Media player can store and play hours of high-definition multimedia content thanks to 8GB of built-in, shock-resistant, solid-state memory. In addition, a handy PC-free USB playback feature enables photos, music, and 1080p video to be immediately displayed from a USB drive or microSD card.
- Supports Full HD 1080p decoding and POPAI (Point of Purchase Advertising International) screen media format standards, including MPEG, H.264, and VC-1.
- Suitable in all venues and scenarios, the bundled Signage Manager software lets users transfer multimedia content onto the NMP-302w from PCs and laptops. This embedded content management tool also lets you format, schedule, and save playback settings.
- This media player integrates wireless 802.11 b/g/n network and RJ45 Ethernet connectivity, providing convenient and efficient content loading from a PC or laptop connection.
- The player is designed for long usage with self-recovery functionality. It ensures the HTML5 contents can continuously playback even when the network is down. In addition, with built-in watch-dog timer functionality, it will automatically recover player data, for minimal maintenance when "no signal" circumstances occur.
