Product description Slide your camera across the entire set over a Hexagon track with this Hexagon Track Dolly and Motorized Column with Robotic Head from Vinten. Mounted on a motorized platform and featuring an integrated elevation system, this dolly allows you to move the camera up, down, and sideways in perfect movement, empowering you to capture smooth shots at varying angles while keeping a low profile. Its elegant and modular structure enables the dolly to be used in a wide variety of applications such as high-end news studios, concerts, shows, and sporting events. The Hexagon system integrates seamlessly with the Vinten Robotic Control system (VCR). Note: Hexagon track, lens drive, cable management, and lens cables available separately - Works with Vinten Control System
- The Hexagon dolly, motorized column, and robotic head natively interface with the Vinten control protocol and can be fully managed from the Vinten Robotic Control system (available separately).
- Support for Shot Sequencing
- Select multiple shots from the control surface, send all these to the Hexagon Dolly, and execute a seamless move through multiple key frames.
- Fast Setup, Easy Assembly
- Developed in the very challenging rental environment, the Hexagon system is easy to set up and tear down. It is equally suitable for permanent and outside broadcast applications.
- Integral Cable Management
- With no cables outside the track, the dolly has a small footprint of 19.68". The cable management makes no noise as the dolly is moving.
- High Traction
- Four traction wheels with dual synchronized motors enable high-traction operation with virtually no slipping.
- Optional Positioning Belt for AR/VR
- The position of the dolly along the track can be very accurately measured using a separately available positioning belt. The collected data is then sent to a graphics engine so the system can be used in an augmented reality or virtual reality environment.
- Flexible Configuration
- Up to two dollies can be set on one track with collision avoidance, high-speed/low-payload or low-speed/high-payload configuration, and standard floor system or ceiling mount configuration as a custom project.
