Product description The Visatec Radio Transceiver RFS has 10 digitally coded channels for wireless remote control and flash triggering of the Visatec flash units containing an integrated RFS interface, from a PC or Macintosh computer. It has a dialogue function -- manual settings on the unit are automatically adjusted in the computer. The transceiver is contained in a plastic housing and has a USB connection cable as well as a sync cable. A base plate is fixed underneath the housing. The software is delivered on a data carrier. The operational distance for power packs outdoors is up to 165' (50 m), in closed rooms up to 100' (30 m) for compact units up to 66' (20 m) indoors. The transmission time is less than 1/1000 second. The transceiver is provided with a test button for the direct flash triggering and two buttons for the regulation of the output of all radio-controlled flash units in 1/1 or 1/10 f-stop increments. The computer supplies the unit with power; no additional energy source is needed. - With digital camera systems that have a sync connection at the PC or Macintosh computer, the flash synchronization can be effected directly by means of the sync connector at the transceiver RFS. There is no need for a separate RFS camera transmitter.
