Product description Supporting mobile business operations, the Patriot P15 from Visioneer is a portable document scanner offering both AC and USB power options. In terms of scanning, this unit offers an optical resolution of 600 dpi, 24-bit color output, and scan speeds of up to 20 ppm. Additionally, the 20-sheet duplexing ADF is configurable to allow for front-fed documents to exit at either the front or the back of the device.
A redesigned Visioneer OneTouch interface is featured on the integrated LCD, and shows preset details for the eight different scanner configurations. The ADF will support many different document types, including plastic ID cards, and sizes from 2 x 2.25" to 8.5 x 118". It is rated with a daily duty cycle of 1000 sheets for longevity and features a standard USB 2.0 connection. Additionally, it has a Kensington Security Slot for safely leaving it unattended; it supports both Mac and Windows operating systems; and the included software bundle comprises applications for image enhancement, OCR, document organization, and a variety of drivers and scanning utility programs.
