Product description The VITEC MGW Premium Portable Multi-Channel H.264 AVC SD Encoder is a portable multi-channel H.264 AVC appliance that enables low-latency delivery of SD video over IP. This portable appliance features no moving parts and delivers a diverse range of video/audio inputs to support any type of IPTV, FMV, and ISR applications. It features two SD-SDI, DVI-I (analog + digital), four composite, four S-Video, two serial RS-232, and mini-jack analog video and audio inputs. With TurboVideo IP streaming technology, the encoder distributes standard-definition video sources across the enterprise network and to remote sites. This portable encoder disseminates IP video at broadcast-quality resolutions at variable bit and frame rates.A built-in video matrix and scaler enable frame rates and resolutions of incoming feeds to be scaled and a single video source to be routed to multiple compression cores for simultaneous encoding at up to five different resolutions and frame rates. This encoder offers real-time embedded video and metadata engines that provide the reliability and resilience necessary to operate in harsh environments. With the MIL-STD certification, the unit is optimized for mission critical ingestion and dissemination of Full Motion Video (FMV). The unit supports Cursor-on-Target (CoT) and Key-Length-Value (KLV) metadata and generates MISB/STANAG compliant streams.Featuring hardware-based AES encryption module, this portable encoder can be used to provide a secure end-to-end IP video delivery solution in conjunction with EZ TV and FITIS IPTV Software Systems or with the MGW Premium Decoder appliance that support AES decryption capability. An image stabilization chip incorporated into the encoder enhances viewing quality in real-time and reduces bandwidth utilization when streaming motion-intensive content. General - Multiple encoding engines for 4 concurrent SD channels
- SD-SDI, DVI, and composite video inputs
- Compact form factor makes it suitable for mobile applications
- Transport infrastructure agnostic: Satellite, xDSL, LANs, WANs, 3G/4G/LTE, and FTTx
- Industry-standard, open architecture allows decoding TurboVideo streams with any H.264 players in low delay
- Low power consumption allows use with battery packs 1
Please Note: Battery cables sold separately close - Supports a wide range of bit rates, frame rates, and resolutions
