Product description A simple point-and-shoot for in-water photography, the patterned turquoise and blue AquaShot Underwater Digital Camera from Vivitar is a compact camera featuring a durable waterproof housing to enable shooting underwater down to 10' below the surface. A 0.31MP CMOS image sensor affords a 640 x 480 VGA stills resolution, with the ability to shoot up to 12 fps with a shutter speed range of 1/60 to 1/15000 sec. Movies can also be recorded in 320 x 240 QVGA resolution, with a 6 to 8 fps frame rate. The fixed wide-angle lens has a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture and a set focusing range of 3.3' to infinity for working with a broad range of subjects in various lighting conditions, and an optical viewfinder lets you easily and accurately compose shots. Additionally, the camera also incorporates a two-digit LCD display to show how many frames are available, 16MB of built-in memory, a 10-second self-timer settings, and requires two AAA batteries as its power source.
