Product description Install the Vivitar Battery Grip for Panasonic G80 and G85 Cameras directly to either body by turning the thumb screw and tightening the grip against the body in the 1/4"-20 tripod socket. The grip accepts one DMW-BLC12 rechargeable battery which doubles the camera's battery life when there is a functioning battery inside the camera. The battery grip offers a comfortable, extended, rubberized, non-slip grip, and a shutter release button for vertical use. It also provides two thumb dials, an AE/AF lock button, and a multifunction button, so you maintain full function of the camera while shooting vertically. A DC power-supply socket next to the grip's battery chamber is available to use with the compatible DMW-AC8 ac adapter. The battery grip maintains tripod support with the threaded 1/4"-20 socket on the bottom, and a strap mount on the side, so a hand or shoulder strap can be securely attached. - The Vivitar Battery Grip accepts one DMW-BLC12 rechargeable battery
