Product description Enjoy bright 2D and 3D content in most settings with the Vivitek DX831 5000-Lumen XGA DLP Projector. Its 5000 lumens of brightness overcomes ambient light in many rooms while XGA resolution helps keep images and text clear at most viewing distances. Its 1.83 to 2.75:1 throw ratio allows you to install the projector near the back of the room without losing focus.
The DX831 features two HDMI inputs with HDMI 1.4 support for 1080p and 3D content. It also has composite, S-Video, and two VGA inputs for legacy analog sources, plus a VGA output to daisy-chain multiple projectors or displays. One HDMI input is MHL-compatible for wired mirroring of your compatible smartphone or tablet. A built-in 10-watt speaker and analog audio input and output ensure that audio accompanies your video. A VGA cable and IR remote control are included for instant setup and convenient control. - 3D Projection
- The DX831 is compatible with 3D signals from computers, game consoles, Blu-ray players, and more, with DLP Link and HDMI 1.4b support.

- Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is a technology commonly found in smartphones and tablets, allowing them to connect to HD displays and transmit video and audio while simultaneously charging the device.
- Six-Segment Color Wheel with BrilliantColor Technology
- The DX831 uses BrilliantColor technology and a six-segment color wheel (red, yellow, green, cyan, white, blue) to help generate bright, color-accurate images.
- DLP Chipset
- DLP chips use millions of tiny mirrors to reflect the colors of visible light to project the image onto the screen, helping to enhance contrast ratios and minimizing the gaps between the pixels for augmented sharpness and brightness.
