Product description Vixen Optics' Advanced Polaris Declination Body Set gives users the Declination unit, and the AP Counterweight Bar in one package to properly balance your OTA when mounted. It is a principal part of the Advanced Polaris mount and functions as the DEC body of the mount as well as elevation axis of the APZ Alt-Az mount. Optional equipment such as the Manual Slow Motion Control Module, DEC Motor Module, and AZ Counterweight can be installed for added usability and versatility; and the built-in battery compartment allows it to power the DEC Motor Module on just four user-supplied AA batteries. The AP Counterweight Bar is compatible with Vixen's 1kg, 1.9kg, 2.8kg, 3.7kg counterweights. - Advanced Polaris Counterweight Bar Use the Vixen Optics Advanced Polaris Counterweight Bar to hold compatible weights to balance the mount and OTA which reduces stress on the mount and allows for easier movement while aligning, finding, or tracking an object. This bar is identical to the one that originally ships with the mount and works with Vixen's 1kg, 1.9kg, 2.8kg, and 3.7kg counterweights.
