Product description 9 Alternative Camera Supports Read More The 113 Ash Wood Monopod from Berlebach is a camera and optic support constructed from solid ash wood in order to improve its vibration dampening ability.
An excellent companion for sports or wildlife photographers, a monopod is both a space and weight saving alternative to a tripod when the latter is either overly cumbersome or not permitted in a given venue. While a tripod may provide greater stability, a monopod is ideal for supporting large telephoto lenses or professional video cameras. Removing the need for an additional head, the 113 features an integrated tilt-head which is easily locked and unlocked via a ratcheting handle.
Designed for use in the field or studio, the 113 can reach a minimum height of just 29" but can also be extended to a max height of 61" using two leg adjustments. The hearty 3-section design allows the user to control the length via two twist-knobs and maintains the monopod's ability to support a maximum load of up to 13.2 lb.
When folded, the 113 collapses down to 29" for storage and weighs just 1.9 lb, making it easy to carry in nearly any environment. Additionally, the monopod features such extras as hybrid rubber/spiked feet and an anti-twist camera pad on the tilt-head.
