Product description The Planet Tripod from Berlebach is a telescope support constructed from solid ash wood with 4.1" leg joints, giving it a naturally high resistance to vibration and maximum stiffness.
As a dedicated telescope support, the Planet has been fitted with a base designed specifically for Vixen GP and Sphinx Mounts, newly designed clamping elements and a heavy duty support spreader to maintain its high load capacity. An attachable accessory tray has been included to hold accessories such as telescope components, star guides, and more.
The heavy-duty Planet has a load capacity of 220 lb and a minimum height of 34.6" and a maximum height of 53.5".
For transport, the Planet weighs 24.2 lb, making it a capable tool which may be carried over short distances. The tripod also features durable spiked feet for use in adverse terrain and distance markings on each variable leg section to determine precise height settings.
