Product description The UNI 16 Ash Wood Tripod from Berlebach is a camera and optic support constructed from solid ash wood in order to improve its vibration dampening ability.
As a member of the UNI series, the UNI 16 has been designed with a set of versatile stop-less leg locks which allow each leg to be set at any angle from 0° to approximately 100°. This action is accomplished via ratcheting handles which are located at the top of each leg next to the tripod's collar. Although the capacity of the tripod may vary depending on the angles set for each leg, the load capacity of 77.2 lb was measured while each leg was set at approximately 20°. Additionally, the UNI 16 is capable of standing at a maximum height of 54" and, with the legs set to their widest angle, may be lowered to a minimum height of just 5".
The second special feature of the UNI 16 is the unique leveling ball which has been seamlessly integrated into the tripod's collar. Featuring a baseplate diameter of 3.9" and a pivoting range of 30°, the leveling base is particularly suitable for heavy equipment due to its highly stable design and low center of gravity. A spirit level has also been integrated into the leveling ball's base-plate to ensure precise centering when required.
When folded, the UNI 16 collapses down to 37" for storage and weighs just 14.7 lb, making it easy to carry over short distances. The tripod also features durable rubber feet and a 3/8"-16 mounting thread. UPC: 811971018822 In the Box Vixen Optics Berlebach UNI 16 Ash Wood Tripod Limited 5-Year Warranty Table of Contents
