Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More The BT-ED70S-A Binocular Telescope from Vixen Optics is a dual optical channel telescope that features apochromatic extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lenses and two 1.25-inch eyepiece mounts that allow the observer to equip the optic with a wide range of astronomy eyepieces. The fully multicoated lens system transmits a 400mm focal length and is capable of f/5.7 light gathering ability.The binocular design makes long observation sessions comfortable. Viewing with both eyes open eliminates the fatigue normally associated with holding one eye closed, as with traditional telescopes. With both eyes open, true stereoscopic vision is maintained providing depth of field for both terrestrial and astronomical viewing. Each eyepiece is individually focused, providing superior clarity versus binoculars with center-focus systems. - Apochromatic ED glass lens system with multilayer anti-reflective lens coating
- 1.25" eyepiece mounts accommodate most astronomy eyepieces and Vixen's LV and LVW series eyepieces
