Product description Designed for Vixen's R200SS Newtonian reflector telescope the Coma Corrector PH employs a Wynne-type 3-element in 3-group optical design to correct and virtually eliminate coma aberration from the OTA's primary parabolic mirror surface. The corrector delivers sharp pinpoint star images across the entire field of view - all the way to the edge. It has a 0.95x magnification and reduces the R200SS effective focal length to 760mm to give it a faster f/3.8 focal ratio. Threads on the housing are designed for user-supplied camera-specific T-rings for astrophotography, and its 44mm diameter circle is designed to cover a 36mm x 24mm full frame DSLRs. A large 50mm aperture lens allows for ample edge-of-field illumination. The same AS anti-reflective optical coatings limit light loss and deliver high light transmission for improved image brightness. Light loss and "ghost flare" in images are further corrected due to the complete matte finish inside the corrector.
