Product description The Vixen #3541 Dew Heater allows you to have longer viewing sessions with your catadioptric or refractor telescope, by preventing the buildup of dew on the objective lens. Simply insert the heating element into the protected portion of the cord, attach the heating element pigtail to the battery box, and surround the objective with the heating cord-this will keep dew away from the objective lens without disturbing the internal thermal equilibrium of the scope. The dew heater requires eight user-supplied "D" batteries. - 26.2" (665mm) long waterproof heating cord
