Product description Vixen Optics' Illuminated Polar Alignment Scope features a 3 arc min accuracy and is used to precisely align of your Advanced Polaris mount with the Earth's rotational axis which allows you to manually navigate to celestial coordinates when in EQ mode, and to greatly improve tracking accuracy. Running on one CR2032 battery with eight adjustable intensity levels, this LED illuminated scope makes your alignment process fast and easy in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, and an internal sensor detects ambient light and automatically turns off the dark field illumination.
