Product description The Leveling Adapter from Berlebach is a sturdy leveling base designed to fit within a 70 or 85mm bowl or atop any support with a 3/8"-16 male mounting thread. The adapter allows the user to level their equipment in any direction up to a maximum of 33°.
Built to accommodate large and heavy equipment, the base features a 3.9" diameter ball with a 2.9" top support plate, giving any gear a stable base to rest on. The inclusion of a 3/8"-16 top screw thread requires the use of a separate head, quick release system, or adapter to mount most consumer cameras, however some professional video cameras can be mounted directly.
In order to maintain control and precision, the base also features adjustable friction to slow the movement of the base, which may be accessed via a second knob next to the main locking knob. Additional specs include a total height of 4.3", an integrated bubble level, and a relatively lightweight build at just 2.1 lb.
