Product description Explore microscopic worlds with the Microshot 700 Monocular Microscope from Vixen. This vertical-viewing introductory microscope features three rotating objectives on a ball bearing nosepiece and two eyepieces, which together offer a total magnification from 50x to 700x. The 35x objective offers an achromatic design that corrects for color distortions and delivers clear and crisp images with fine detail of microstructures. To help you with your study, the square metal stage has two metal clips to secure your samples and slides. The scope also provides two types of illumination: LED for the indoor use and the mirror if you want to use it in the field. The body is made of metal to ensure stability and repeatable focusing. With the included camera adapter, you can connect a disposable or a DSLR camera and take photos of your discoveries. For connecting a DSLR camera, the adapter requires an optional T-ring and will support a camera of up to 28 oz. To provide ready-to-use educational exercises for the beginning explorer or to allow you to learn using this microscope, the Observational Kit is also included. It contains numerous sample slides, instruments, and dyes. - Optical System, Focusing, & Illumination
