Product description The Model 653 Berlebach 3-Way-Tilt Head with Quick Release from Vixen Optics is a precision tripod head which allows the user to position their camera using 3 axes of adjustment—horizontal, vertical, and 360° rotation.
The Model 653 features a classic 3-way adjustment system which delegates a single locking arm to controlling each of the head's axes of adjustment. The two large and primary arms allow the user to level their camera to the horizon or position it along a tilt range which spans from 0 to 90°. The third lock on the base allows the user to rotate their camera 360° and, with the use of an engraved degree scale, precisely control their movements for tasks like panoramic photography. Additionally, the Model 653 has been developed to compliment your tripod legs without weighing them down; it features a weight of just 2.2 lb but is capable of holding up to an impressive 13 lb of solid camera gear.
The top of the head features a Model 150 quick release clamp which accepts quick release plates built to the Arca-type or UniQ-C standard. The clamp is also removable should the user want to replace it with Berlebach's P101 or P103 Panorama plates or with the Model 130 quick release clamp. The included Model 150 clamp features a simple knob for locking and releasing the QR plate and also includes a safety release to prevent accidental plate slips.
The Model 653 includes one quick release plate which features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and two integrated spirit levels for straightening your camera's horizons. In the Box Vixen Optics Model 653 Berlebach 3-Way-Tilt Head with Quick Release Limited 5-Year Warranty Table of Contents
